welcome to james day photography

Yeehaw! What a freakin’ fantastic day Lou and I had in Tamworth. So many of the couples i’m photographing came along to see me.. some travelled pretty far to come too.
I met some really awesomely fantastically cool people too.. Karissa Tuckwell, who is a photographer in Tamworth is an absolute CHAMPION! Karissa runs Image Photography, which is a rockin’ photography studio. Feel free to use her if i’m booked. She comes with my seal.
I had the coolest bunch of people showing their gear near my stand too..thank you for making it such a fun time for me.. and for eating all my Jelly Snakes!!!!
The coolest part was that people really dug our stuff. I’ve never really done anything so public like that before.. so it was awesome to see the brides drooling over our photos and all the 70 couples that I met with really adored the albums that we create.
Quote of the day: “Oh my gosh, you look just like you do on your blog!” Dah.
Another cool person I met was Kim, from Kim’s Karaoke. She was the MC of the event and it was so cool when she walked over and told everyone to check out our stand because our photography is like artwork. Right on!
I also got to catch up with Jasmine who’s organising the Coffs Harbour Bridal Expo at Bonville. What a cool chicky! I can’t wait for that expo… it should be a riot!
To everyone that’s reading this who I met today.. thank you so much! It was truly a pleasure to meet every last one of you. Please drop me a line some time and i’ll shout every last one of you lunch when you come through Armidale next.
