Hannah (portrait shoot)
I received a nice long email from Hannah a few weeks back telling me all about her life, her dreams, her passions, and asking me if I would be able to capture a small piece of her life in my photos. We got up nice and early this morning (a 6:30am start) and drove out towards Coffs Harbour looking for a nice misty creek bed. After about 5 mins, we found the perfect little spot… nice and misty.. green grass.. river with flowing water.. not too deep.. and just such a beautiful location to photograph in.
Hannah was so brave.. I had all these crazy and adventurous ideas which involved getting into the water being completely soaked. She didn’t complain.. not even once. Hannah made it so easy to photograph this morning.. at 6:30am and all.
It was so good in fact, that I felt like I was photographing for myself and was able to go crazy.

~~~Note to Photographers. Everything here was photographed using either my 24mm 1.4 lens, or the 85 1.2 lens using natural light. No flash or reflectors were used whatsoever. Look for good light and make your model comfortable!~~~

Thankyou so much James! I had so much fun. I LOVE the last three. The ones in the water really represent who I am. I just love them! Words cannot express the miracle you’ve worked - at first I didn’t recognise myself!
