As some of you know.. I’m a very big fan of the movie “zoolander”. Those who have seen it would know that there is a part of the movie where Derek Zoolander and his model friends decide to spray around some Petrol at the Petrol Station and then someone lights a cigarette.. and boom!
Well yesterday I was in my own freak gasoline accident! Hurray! (not quite so hurray)

I had just come back from scouting out a location with a band called the Discards who’s album cover we will be shooting on thursday night and I filled up the tank with petrol, only to notice that it was all streaming out the back of the car as I pulled out. Well.. I pulled into the nearest carpark and watched as 55 litres of fuel dumped onto the ground.. well.. of course the Fire Brigade came to clear the scene, NRMA, and eventually a tow truck came to pick up my old beast of a car.. and I’m left without a car until it’s fixed. It seems I must have hit a rock on the way back from the scouting.. and put a hole in the fuel tank!

So.. for those of you who I have told that I was going to be at the coast this week and you see me walking around the town.. here’s why!
