Megan & Shane (brisbane wedding) + Unique Images Photography Actions

11 May 2008

I had the most incredible experience yesterday when I photographed a wedding along side Ben Rugers from Infinity Studios. Last year he visited me here in Armidale and we photographed a wedding together, and yesterday it was time for me to return the favour way up there in Brisbane.
Ben is a master of light, a “very nice, how much” funny guy, with a big big… heart! Our styles are slightly different, but to be honest, who the heck knows what my style is? I am so impatient with life that I seem to change my style every time I pick up the camera.
Whilst I was in Brisbane I also met with a stack of photographers.. & you’re all a bunch of crazy characters!

Also, you’ll notice the editing of the images have a slightly different look to them.. That is thanks to the super dooper new, so new in fact that they haven’t been released yet “Unique Images Photography Actions” that I am a beta tester for.
I’ll do an extremely in depth report on these actions after I have used them a bit more.. but so far.. I’d definitely suggest picking up a set. I think mainly for the black and white actions.. especially the “industrial black and white” action.

Oh, & I’m in the worst mood today. So flippin’ tired and ready to just go overseas for my 3 months off already! Bring it on!

  3. Hey James, do you prefer the 50mm f/1.2 or 85mm f/1.2?

When you are over here, will you be near Toronto at all?

  6. 50mm 1.2 all the way… I have both.. but tend to lean towards the 50mm most of the time…

Yep, I might be coming to both Toronto and NY!

  7. Will you let us know via the blog where you’ll be?
Don’t know if I’d make it 6 hours to NY, but I’d definitely travel the 3 hours to Toronto, if it’s not on a “school” night. LOL.

  8. …unless you fancy a trip to Buffalo, Rochester, or Syracuse?
