I did a wedding video!
I was able to tick something off my “to do” list on saturday. I have always been interested in shooting wedding video, and on saturday, with Perry and his crew, I had my chance. I was the second video guy (so there wasn’t too much pressure on me) and I had a blast! That said though, I don’t plan on giving up the photography any time soon as I was caught complaining probably about 50 times throughout the day that I was missing my Camera! It was perfect though as I had sent almost all my camera gear into the shop to be tweaked, repaired, cleaned and to get it’s toenails painted. I actually dropped my 1ds Mark 3 a while back and put a crack in the rear screen so it was time to fix that, and also broke the 50mm 1.2 lens last week. All up, to get the camera fixed, 2 lenses, calibration, clean etc.. it was only $300. Bargain!
Hopefully the editors will put together a highlight reel and I’ll be able to share the video with you. We’ll see.
I know I promised more pics from the Clark family.. but folks I haven’t even been in front of a computer for more than a few minutes, but tonight I was itching to come home and look at the few photos I took at Saturdays wedding. I took along a 40d with a 70-200mm lens and just shot a few for a few minutes WHILST (that’s for you Jasmine*) I put the video camera down.
Enjoy my 5 minutes of photography..
“just shot a few for a few minutes” yeah and you pulled off these. Go figure!
