Before heading out to Bree & Alan’s Wedding Reception, I shot a VERY quick family portrait for the Sarlo family at their gorgeous Hamptons home.

Love you shots. I have a question for you about your indoor shots here. What lens do you use for these? They look amazingly bright and fresh.

It’s a 50mm 1.2 lens, most are shot between 1.2 or f2.0 with no additional lighting. Firstly, they had huge windows, open plan house.. so it made my job easy… remember to shoot based on light, rather than backgrounds! If you can get both.. it’s a bonus! I then bump them a little in curves.
