Flip I’m nice. Maybe just today?
Today I will share almost everything! Everything but the parasailing images, because Lauren has taken them hostage!
Let’s start with Lisa and Luke’s Engagement!
We met in Dorrigo, amongst some of the most breathtaking scenery on this planet. Wicked shots, wicked couple.
Popular vote wins!
1. Photos of Lauren and I parasailing in Hawaii. Such good fun!
2. Lisa & Luke’s engagement photos
3. Lisa & Luke’s Wedding Photos.
4. A few passwords to see recent wedding albums online!
Leave a comment to let me know!

Come on James we have been watching since Monday. ( Lauren we need your Help)
Is it bad that I love watching you all squirm? There will be a surprise for all of you later today!
Hi James Thank you, so much love Tash, Tisse & Leah
Upon returning from Hawaii, the next day (friday) Lauren and I travelled to the Hunter Valley to photograph Julia & Mick’s Wedding, and what a wedding it was. It would have to go down in the history books as one of the most exquisite locations for a wedding ceremony and reception.
The flowers were absolutely perfect, thanks to the team at Floral Affects and Event Hire, the Celebrant Philip Greentree did a really cool scottish themed ceremony, with the traditional hand tying with a ribbon and the reception was perfectly coordinated by Megan from Roberts Restaurant.
Lauren actually took some of the photos below. If you mouse over the thumbnail, a text box will appear with the info about the shot.. and the ones that Lauren took will have her credited!
Julia and Mick, thanks for a fun day together, and I’m really looking forward to getting in and designing your wedding album this week. I’ve looked through all the shots and they’re looking awesome!
…lauren took the default display shot below!

You are so right! Stunning location!
gorgeous James!!!
Damn fine work you guys! James, you might have some serious competition from your girl, she’s fabulous! But hey, she is learning from the best ![]()
James these are absolutely beautiful! I really like the one titled ‘experimenting a little.’ Lauren has done an amazing job! I think Cathy is right in saying you might have some serious competition!
Your pictures are worth the extra nav work, James! Just thought you’d like to know ![]()
Thanks Folks. It really is amazing having Lauren there with me when I shoot. I love her company and the inspiration I draw from her. Yes, Lauren could be competition, or someone who strengthens what I do, so that my clients get an even richer experience.

Spoken like a true gentleman James ![]()

On a gorgeous day, with a light layer of cloud, on the Island of Maui, in Hawaii, Richard & Kristi tied the knot. This cute couple is from Vancouver in Canada, and work in the animation industry.. do you remember Yakkity Yak? Richard was involved in making that!
I kept hearing comments throughout the day about how long Kristi had been waiting for this day. You could tell that there was so much excitement for both of them that had been building up over the years. I felt so privileged to be flown in to shoot their gorgeous Hawaii wedding.
It was a very intimate wedding with just the closest friends and family attending. Kristi got her hair and make up done at the Westin Spa at the Westin Maui, and got ready there in her hotel room. Richard got ready at the Ka’anapali Beach Hotel, which is the same hotel I was staying at and was this awesome Hawaiian themed hotel. It was a blast to stay there.
After the ceremony on the beach, the 15 of us went to a Luau, which is basically a big Hawaiian themed BBQ and show.
I got a bit sunburnt while laying on the beach and by the pool on the day before the wedding.. and had the time of my life when I went Parasailing! I never imagined it would be THAT much fun. If you’re ever in Maui, there’s a restaurant you need to check out, and it’s called Kimo’s, on front street. Incredible tasty food and fab service. On a side note, you’ll be happy to know that I had Canada Dry while I was away..but then forgot to bring some back for later. DOH!
Kristi and Richard.. it almost seems silly to thank you in writing for having Lauren and I come to Maui to shoot your wedding. I just want to give you a huge hug, and look you in the eye and give you both a HUGE kiss. You guys are awesome!
How fabulous for you! Of all places in the world to do a Destination Wedding you lucked out with this one! Beautiful James ![]()
As always James, great shots.
awesome james ! love your work
Hi James! We made it back to Vancouver and we cannot thank you and Lauren enough for the fab photos! We were so happy to have the two of you share in our special day! Mahalo from the bottom of our hearts!
