Holly & Hunter both work at a venue called Hopewood House in Bowral, with Hunter responsible for looking after the incredible gardens there and Holly working at the weddings that took place there. Holly & Hunter had come across my work from seeing the weddings I’d photographed at Hopewood over the years and decided to get in touch when it was their turn to get married. I knew their wedding venue wouldn’t disappoint when they would have already had such high standards of what a venue could be.

They chose none other than Mona Farm, in Braidwood, NSW which isn’t too far from Canberra.

From the moment I arrived at Mona Farm, I was greeted by Romy & Julian, who take care of Mona Farm. They made sure that I knew what was going on, the timings and of course made me aware of some of the most incredible places to photograph onsite. The list was endless, so we had to pick a few and run with it. One of the highlights was the new Wildflower Meadow, make sure you check it out when you next visit!

Holly wore two stunning wedding gowns on the day, the first from Bon Bride, purchased from Mrs Fray and the second (with the amazing bow at the back!)was from Lillian Khallouf.

Hunter wore a suit from Tailor & Co.

Simon Ekas took care of the catering, Boutierre Girls nailed the florals and Jessica Peris and Emi Styles took care of the make up and hair respectively.

Most importantly, these two were physically married by Sue Jackman, the best celebrant in Australia.
